Trying to figure out pictures.  Okay, can’t resize or do much with the pictures.  So, the first one is from an email forward that I though was funny.  The next two are from the Baiers house on Sunday.  John and Rob cut wood and the girls swam in the hot tub and played on the trampoline. 

My header is a painting that I admired in the Cincinnati Art Museum.  It’s by an American Artist named George Inness from the late 19th century.  In college I studied mostly American art history, and I vaguely remember discussing this painting in a class.  Someday I’d liketo go back to school.  Not sure if I could go back to daap though.

Juliana runs fast, and now rides her tricycle very fast.  Yesterday, I was on the phone with the vet and she got on her tricycle and headed down the street.  I watched from the driveway, not wanting to yell while on the phone and I couldn’t just tell the vet I had to run and call back later….so Juliana proceeded down the road, stopped her bike in front of the neighbor’s and walked in their house!  They called a few hours earlier asking if Juliana could play, so it was ok with them.  Crazy girl.  I feel like I spend my days chasing Juliana, she’s always on the run.  I am against kid leashes.  It seems like the most practical solution for this runaway, but I just can’t chain my kid like I do my dogs. 

Emma has good taste in music, she loves Bob Marley!  As soon as she hears it, she drops everything and dances.  She is very musical!  She loves maracas and I was trying to be funny by tapping her on the head with one today.  Then she walked around the rest of the day hitting herself on the head with it.  She thought it was pretty funny.

We’re going to church tomorrow for Dormition.  It’s traditional to wear blue, so I’m thinking about what the girls and I should wear.

John is going to pick up Barney tomorrow!  He’s been in the animal hospital since Monday with pancreatitus.

After changing the header a few times today, I stuck with the black eyed susans – from our front yard.  I’ll probably change it again tomorrow.
