I’ve been thinking about starting a new blog, and I want to focus on ONE thing.  So far I’m thinking “Whole Grains Everyday” or something like that.  I would post a recipe every single day with a photo, like this blog: http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/  I’ve been trying to limit refined grains for awhile, and am really enjoying expirementing with whole grains!  There are a few common whole grains that we eat regularly, like whole wheat bread and pasta, oatmeal, and brown rice, but there are so many more whole grains out there!  Other whole grains are barley, buckwheat (mmm, kasha), bulgur, millet, popcorn, whole grain cornmeal, wild rice, quinoa, and amaranth.  I’m pretty sure that I’ve eaten all of these, but I don’t know how to prepare them myself, so on January 1st I will begin.

Sounds great! I’d love to take a trip to Whole Foods with you after church one day…although they don’t even have everything!
